We believe the foundation for all learning is reading and writing. MyPerspectives focuses on utilizing vocabulary, thought processes, and strategies to become independent readers and learners. Our goal is to help foster lifelong learners. This program facilitates and encourages critical analysis, higher level thinking and engagement, prompts students in productive discourse, and challenges students to rise to their highest potential. There are five units per school year, which are organized by theme. Each theme utilizes texts and activities that address a specific writing style (Narrative, Persuasive, Expository etc.). Each unit is categorized by three sections: Whole Group, Small Group, and Independent Learning. The units are as follows:

7th Grade
